Lowell Youth Football League

LYFL consists of both flag football and tackle football. LYFL Youth Flag Football is for those who are 4 years old to entering 2nd grade.  (Tackle) Football division is for players who are entering grades 3rd-8th. If your player will be in 3rd grade starting September 2023, then this is the division he/she will play in.   

Flag Football

4 Years Old up to 2nd Grade (4 by September 1, 2023)

Games are all at the High School, Saturday mornings starting in September.

Grade Base Levels (3rd-8th grade)

These divisions have home and away games.  Home games are played at Burch Field on Saturday, starting in September.  7/8th grade play home games at the High School Stadium on Wednesdays starting in September.

Lowell Youth Football League is a non-profit youth football organization located in Lowell, Michigan.  LYFL is a 100% volunteer run organization.  Over 500 youths participated in our league during the 2022 season, coached by close to 100 volunteer coaches.    Thank you for your interest in our program.

Registration will plan to open on May 15, 2023. Prices will increase June 1, July 1 and August 1, with final registration ending August 12. There is a multiplayer discount available to families with multiple participants. Players can register online or via mobile phone. 

Once registration is complete in August, players will be placed on rosters. Once a player is on a team, they will hear from their coach via email and can be connected to their team via the app and team name. 

Information about practices, games and events will be updated via email and on the web and app.
